Silly question - what would cause the engines power to fade to stall speed?
Flying at full power to catch up with the group (plenty of juice) and it turned into a glider in steep valleys and mountains caused me to crash twice last night.
I have had this in the older jets Sea Vixen and Buccaneer.
I have a vague memory of a bug in the Sea Vixen where it started with very minimal fuel, because it had it's own fuel system script - I always had to go to the fuel settings menu & max out the fuel load after loading FG with it
I did check fuel at the half way point and did select more tanks and moved the sliders.
After digging out my fs98
pilot guide it does say full use for limited periods 5mins or 10mins depending which part of the world.
Also throttle on jets are not linear like piston engines, small change at the top makes a big difference in power output.
