daVinci_P-47D "Jug" in Game

Nice having a bunch of days off for the Holidays....this one is In Game with 8 liveries now working and most animations done.....







I'll try and get some .Gifs up as this one s pretty nice...another aircraft I have wanted forever now alive and flying in FGFS!

Now back to the F-111G for the kill and a hope to get it released around the 1st of the new year.

Looks great VooDoo. Not something I know much about but I remember flying it a lot in MS CFS back in the day and they had a pretty unique 'lazy' engine sound. Was there something unique about their powerplant or was that just a game thing?

Probably modeled or sampled the Double Wasp 18 cylinder Radial. Used in the P-47, F4U Corsair, F6F Hellcat and others. I have always had a "thing" for the P-47...heaviest fighter in WWII and literally could survive battle damage and bring it's pilots back home almost no matter what. A true story about one flying into/thru a building and came to a rest inside, the wings being torn off by passing thru the brick walls of the factory building. The pilot walked away....
