Any stairway is a stairway to heaven if you’re clumsy enough.
If your shirt isn’t tucked into your pants, your pants are tucked into your shirt.
Your stomach thinks all potatoes are mashed.
Most of the sky is actually below your feet.
The object of golf is to play the least amount of golf.

Ahhh, the zest of danger. The essence of joie de vivre!
Bwahahaha!

But not such problem if you got to the bit of the runway where the trees have been cleared...

Had a shite of a day - FG problems prior to, and during flight. Also flight input problems. Apologies to all for being a shite lead, at around 20nm behind everyone for a chunk of the flight.
Excellent scenery area tho', well worth revisiting.
Cheers,

Me too Perhaps it's the region? Like Bermuda?
After 20nm (or a little more) no power, no torqe. Maximum collective and the cyclic in most backward position. And then a big mountain...
I had control and input problems on my pre-flight scenery grab , wasn't sure if it was me or my black widow flight stick or FG or what.
I'm crap at helicopters anyway, so rather than ruin the show I decided not to take part.
Happy flying !

I know this is an old flight, but because I cannot join on Saturdays I often scan the FlightNight posts to follow what you did, and find they have useful destination ideas.
Just wanted to post here that I too have flight control input problems in this area, also in Washington State.
I was questioning my gear at one point but went to EGOD and all was ok.
I think its the number of trees in the scenery. I found lags in control input making graceful landings and cruising a problem. It felt like my i7 was really underpowered which is not normally the case.
I'm travelling from Vancouver to San Diego so the sooner I get away from all these trees the better !!
