F-5E + FGAddon F-16 for the first part.
Second I'll decide later on. This one is SPOT on.
Great idea Gary.

Nice Gary...nice. Nice idea nice task, could be a beautiful event!

My question is, if I bring this bird, this is the only livery that exist but I am possible to paint a tiger livery and I send it to you or to my special friend Alex and you must have the possibilty this livery to distribute to the pilots (have no Github). The next problem is, if the pilots have the livery, you have to replace this tiger livery with the default livery.

Is it possible you find a solution?

if it's too complicated it's no problem for me to take a nice bird from the FGUK hangar.

Important is, that I need a fast answer from you, if you find a solution I need time to plan the design and to paint the livery.

@ eagle

I don't believe that the F-4EJ Kai was ever painted with stripes, especially as Japan is not part of NATO and does not participate in Tigermeets. However, there is a nice tiger paint for the FGR2 Phantom for 74(R) squadron that could be painted. The current FGUK FGR2 has a 74(R) squadron livery, but not a striped one. I also note that your bourrasque has a black and white tiger paint, which would also be eligible. You can choose easy (bourrasque - ready now) or more challenging (paint either the FGUK FGR2 or F-4EJ Kai). Good luck with your choice!

Best to you,

Do you mean this livery, i don't like the head and the tail so i would do it differently and i would remove the japanese characters (of course you are right the F-4EJ Kai has no tiger livery) but i would like to stay with this model.

BTW I don't like the bourrasque tiger paint either

Yes eagle, that's the one...

Bonus points for doing the feet on the drop / ferry tanks! ;)

Gary ...... I have a problem.

I can't decide which dangerous tiger to take, this one or the other or the previous one. If I take that one, maybe the other one is angry with me. Hm that's hard.

If that's too stupid for you, you don't have to answer.

As some of us have a bit more time on our hands at the moment, I was thinking of doing a fly-in for this one. Meeting at 1900BST and doing a short, fast flight from South East England, a supersonic low-level blast up the North Sea, then approach Lakenheath, set down, fuel up and park ready for FlightNight proper. If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know and I'll publish the flight plan.

Gary, this might also be a good opportunity to seed the scenario we've been talking about, have a few ground decorations set up at Lakenheath and Volkel just for fun?

@ eagle

Fly which ever you like - just make sure the livery file is posted so we can see your stripes!

@ Algy Sounds good! Let's talk / PM off channel to sort something out

Hi Gary,
The livery for the kittycat, äh pussy, äh I mean pussycat is done.
My english drives me crazy (English language is sometimes dangerous).

Who can I send the livery to?

@Sanni
Of course you can get the pictures of me.
Sanni you just have to tell me who to send them to.

Yep, sorry to hear it, hope it doesn't last too long. And let me know if you want to do any daytime flights to keep occupied, I'm on leave from work and have plenty of flight time.

If you guys use Terrasync, both Lakenheath and Volkel are already build up there. Lakenheath in particular, has been created and uploaded to Terrasync by myself :cheer: . I've also updated some models around Volkel a few weeks ago because of an exercise we did in OPRF.
If you want I can get back to do some more work around EGUL and post it in time for the flight but it has to be decided in the next couple of days in order for the scenery database to process it and have it ready there in time.
Lemme know.

I think the sort of stuff we're talking about is event specific, and so models are probably best put in a scenario rather than into Terrasync for a two hour thing, but thanks :)

Alright Algy, sounds good ;).

I put the FlightNight info on the OPRF website as an event in order to try and gather a larger group of participants since both of us enjoy doing such thing and last year I planned a Tiger Meet-themed exercise at Mont-de-Marsan in France.

A few links for the expected planes (remember to remove "-master" from folder name after extracting):

F-14/F-15: github.com/Zaretto/fg-aircraft/archive/develop.zip
F-16: github.com/NikolaiVChr/f16/archive/master.zip
Viggen: github.com/NikolaiVChr/flightgear-saab-ja-37-viggen
Mirage: github.com/5H1N0B11/Aircraft/archive/master.zip
Jag GR.1: github.com/swampmo/Jaguar/archive/master.zip
MiG-21: github.com/l0k1/MiG-21bis/archive/master.zip

IIRC there's at least one stripe-ish livery per aircraft but I'll make sure we stick to as much FGUK planes as possible. F-16 will probably be the most used having already a few Tiger livs Gary and others did.

Hello.
It's my first FGUK event (even though I've been here for months now) so I hope it'll happen okay for me.
If I'm available, I'll take the F-5E and the Gazelle. I'll use the callsign "Sputnik"
